Got scammed
Summary: nikusui reported buying an air conditioner and was advised by the seller to request a refund due to issues with eBay, but encountered problems as PayPal denied the refund because a tracking number was provided. After contacting PayPal, nikusui could no longer reach eBay, and the seller's account was terminated. perfect-sally mentioned that since PayPal has been involved, eBay cannot assist further but someone from eBay might help. verena@ebay, an eBay representative, asked for the article number, which nikusui provided, despite the article being removed for policy violations. nikusui inquired about obtaining the seller's contact information, but perfect-sally stated that this requires contacting customer service directly.
Hey, since the Chat is awful and it wont give me any contact informations so i can write an email, i have to ask here.
I bought an air conditioner, got a message from the seller ~1h after that i should ask for a refund since there are "issues" with Ebay.
I paid with Paypal, so i asked them first, but they denied the refund since the Seller offered tracking number and its listed as "delivered",
Since i contacted Paypal, i cant contact Ebay anymore, is there a way around that? Because the article itself got deleted/blocked, and the User that sold it is deleted/terminated or something.
Never had this happen and now im kind of lost

OP1 month agoThe article number, at least from the link, was 307041548670 - but its not there anymore since it got deleted due to "violation of principle", or "breach of principle"

OP1 month agoYeah, sadly i thought Paypal would have decent support and since it was my Payment Service i believed itd be faster .

We’ll have an eBay employee take a look, maybe she can contribute something.
