Could it be that my balance is at 00.00 euros because an amount for an item sold has already been transferred from eBay to my account?

eBay doesn’t transfer the money automatically. If you want the money in your account, you have to transfer it yourself from the eBay account. If the balance shows 0, the amount to be paid out probably isn’t ready for withdrawal yet.
