Hello, I'm getting a bit annoyed.
I sold an item, item
was shipped by me on 25/8 with Hermes.
The buyer has received the item. However, the purchase amount is still
being withheld by Ebay.
I have already entered the tracking number,
and contacted the buyer for confirmation.
The buyer left feedback, but I
can't see it.
Somehow the problem seems to be that the buyer
once tried to cancel the purchase because of the wrong
delivery address. That was apparently no longer possible because Ebay
assumed the item had already been shipped, but that was
not the case. I contacted the buyer and clarified
whether they were still interested, which they confirmed.

First of all, on eBay there is no option whatsoever to confirm receipt. Messages or ratings are not accepted as proof of delivery.
Also, you have no current ratings and are listed as a new seller. In that case, payouts can sometimes be withheld at first.
A tracking number is always provided immediately, not later.
Your bank account is verified? Without that, there will be no payout.

OP1 month agoYes, I also found out about confirming receipt. Elsewhere I read that a
rating from Ebay is classified as "item has arrived." I don't have a current rating, which also
surprises me, because it showed me that the buyer has left a rating!
Just because there is currently no rating on file, I’m being listed as a new seller, no matter how long I’ve been registered!?
Bank account is verified.
What I wanted to know is how I need to proceed? Roughly how long will the funds be held, how
many days should I expect approximately?

Mentor1 month agoIf you haven’t sold anything for a long time, you’ll be listed as a new seller again.
And a review is not counted as received; there are and have been many reviews where the wrong item was rated by mistake.
I don’t know what’s going on with you, and in fact it can take up to 30 days before payment is made.
