I bought a ceiling fan with light from a seller on eBay in May... For quite some time now, nothing works at all anymore.. I then reported the problem to the seller, but he no longer responds.. I've also already contacted eBay customer service 2x

Mentor3 weeks ago · EditedEbay is not responsible for your consumer rights! You have to sort that out yourself. And a seller also doesn’t give a warranty; only the manufacturers do that. However, the seller does have a statutory warranty obligation that they have to fulfill. But you have to sort that out yourself and, if necessary, with legal assistance.
How did you pay? If it was with PayPal, you can try to see whether a dispute can be opened there.

and then what? Was it a purchase abroad or in Germany?
Warranty claims generally don’t go through eBay, you have to sort those out with the seller.
How did you pay? By any chance Klarna or PayPal?
