This is how authenticity verification works
When you buy a qualifying item, the seller does not send the item directly to you, but to a team of authenticity checkers.
After receiving the item, the authenticity checkers verify whether the contents of the package match the seller’s listing. This is followed by a thorough physical inspection for authenticity. The checks are usually carried out within 2 business days.
If the item passes the check, it is repackaged and sent to you with a fast shipping service and tracking. As an additional security level, items of high value require a signed receipt upon delivery. Items whose authenticity has been confirmed are accompanied by a card or tag confirming that the item has been checked by an authenticity verifier.
