I’m facing the following challenge: Last year in October, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ultra S25 on eBay, and now I’ve noticed that the battery is swelling. The seller is no longer active on eBay, but the device is still covered by the two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Luckily, I also bought with eBay Buyer Protection.
Now I’m faced with the decision of what I should do best. I use my phone every day for work, and a quick solution is important to me. Has anyone had similar experiences? How did you solve the problem? Are there specific steps I should follow to claim the warranty?

Mentor1 week agoeBay buyer protection runs for exactly 30 days from the delivery date and then that’s it.
You have to enforce your consumer rights yourself.
The seller is also not responsible for warranties; sellers don’t give warranties. Only manufacturers do that. And I think it’s pointless to claim warranty service for batteries after almost 1 year.
