Dear eBay Community Team, I have noticed a problem over the last few days and hope that someone from the community can help me. It concerns discrepancies between the amounts shown in the Advertising section and the figures under Revenue.I’ve noticed that the advertising fees do not match. An example from today:If I set the date to today in my “Premium” campaign, advertising fees of €5.53 are shown.However, if I look under “Revenue” and also select today’s date, Premium advertising fees of €12.51 are listed there under selling costs.That’s more than double. I’ve noticed similar discrepancies on other days as well. For example, on one day the Advertising section showed about €7 in advertising fees, while under Revenue €25 was charged.The same problem also occurs with external ads, where there are also differences of sometimes more than double.This raises the following questions for me:Which amount is authoritative?Which figures should I use to correctly assess the profitability of my ads?How can ROAS be calculated correctly?If according to Advertising I have only spent €5 on a Premium ad and achieve a ROAS of, for example, €13, but according to Revenue this is halved due to higher fees, that results in a significant difference in how my campaigns are evaluated.Where do the additional costs come from?If the amounts under “Revenue” are correct, I wonder where these come from. According to Advertising, for example, I received 10 clicks for €5. However, if €12 is charged, this would also have to be reflected in a correspondingly higher number of clicks. Can someone explain this difference to me?(Note: By “Premium ad” I mean all premium ads. I am aware that “Revenue” shows the total costs of all premium ads. When I talk about my “Premium” campaign, I am also referring to the overall view or preview of all premium campaigns.) This information is crucial for me in order to assess whether my ads and my business are financially successful.
