Purchased an illegal product?

I ordered and received an EU 5G router. There is no manufacturer listed for this product, neither on the packaging nor on the type plate. According to the CE marking regulations, however, the manufacturer must be on the type plate. So this product should not be sold in the EU. The customer service phone line is answered only by a stupid AI, which won’t connect me to a human. What am I supposed to do with the product now? Where can I still reach a human at eBay? Can someone help me?

In principle, you can reach customer service by phone and speak with a representative. The only question is whether that representative understands what you're talking about.
No one can help you here at the moment because no eBay staff are present and you first have to find your way around the new community properly.
If the item violates any laws, I would just return it.
