Allow international shipping retroactively

Question

I have an ongoing auction and forgot to set international shipping. If I want to do that now afterward, the button/slider isn’t active?

If you sell internationally, you and your buyers may be protected by one of our buyer protection programs. The type and extent of the protection depend on the website through which the purchase was made.

For items this expensive, buyer protection is decided by the buyer’s country, which is an enormous risk for you, since different principles and rules apply there than on ebay.de.

if it's about the watch, then with international sales (not just shipping) you can probably say goodbye to both the watch and the money right away

within Germany, the watch would - if at all - only be insured up to 500 euros with DHL shipping, so you'd have to commission a secure valuables transport ... express shipping isn't possible here either

for shipping abroad, FedEx is recommended, since in general proof of delivery incl. signature is required in an INR case ... although that has also happened in cases where the buyer is from abroad but the item is shipped within Germany

I would definitely not ship higher-value items abroad if you don't want to lose your money and goods!

You have the following options:

Add optional extra options to improve the visibility of your listing (fees may apply)
Answer buyer questions – however, you can't display the questions and answers in your listings.
Add new payment methods and shipping addresses
Lower currently specified prices such as shipping costs
Add a new domestic shipping service

The following changes are not possible:

Change listing duration
Change starting price
Increase currently specified prices such as shipping costs
Remove a currently specified domestic shipping service
Edit listing description
You cannot add any further information to the item description
