Buyer does not confirm delivery.
I sent a package to a buyer that he had already paid for, and I also sent him the tracking number via screenshot and not via eBay.
The DHL app says that the package has arrived, but he is ignoring me and is not confirming that it arrived, eBay is still keeping the money for itself.

Mentor2 weeks agoFirst of all, why don’t you include the tracking number with the item? That’s a requirement for proper shipping as proof of shipment and then as proof of delivery!
On eBay there is no function that lets the buyer confirm receipt; that’s what the tracking number is for, which, if provided, also shows the delivery.

OP2 weeks agoI didn't see the tracking number; it didn't say where or how I should enter it, I only saw it after googling. Can't the buyer somehow give some kind of feedback so that eBay sees it as delivered?

Mentor2 weeks agoFeedback, e.g. based on a message, is not accepted by eBay. For every sold item it clearly says “Add tracking number”. You can still do that now and specify the correct parcel service.

You can always enter the tracking number you have in your orders.
You should get on that ASAP. The buyer’s feedback usually isn’t enough.
If you buy the shipping label through Ebay, that happens automatically; if you bought it externally, you’ll have to enter the tracking number yourself.

OP2 weeks agoI already tried that, right after I got the notification that the delivery had arrived.
However, it then said: ,, This tracking number is already being used by another seller"
How is that even possible?
