Buyer is not releasing payment – shipping was organized by the buyer themselves

Hello everyone,
I sold a refrigerator on eBay. The buyer arranged the shipping themselves and outside of eBay. The item has now been picked up from me and is with the buyer.
My problem now is that the payment has still not been released. In eBay I can't confirm the shipping because eBay requires a QR code or a pickup number for that. I don't have either, since the buyer organized the shipping themselves.
I have already messaged the buyer several times, but unfortunately I haven't gotten a response.
What can I do in this case so that eBay releases the payment?
How can I prove to eBay that the refrigerator was actually picked up if I don't have an eBay shipping confirmation or a QR code?
Has anyone ever had a similar case and can tell me how I should best proceed?

Mentor2 weeks agoYes, stuff like that happens when you completely ignore eBay’s rules! First of all, a buyer doesn’t release payments, only eBay can do that.
And without shipping and delivery proof and without a confirmation code, you have to wait up to 30 days until the payment is released. Still assuming the buyer doesn’t file a complaint about the item and also doesn’t report an item not received. Then you’re out your money again.

OP2 weeks agoUnfortunately, I only have the pickup slip from the freight forwarder. However, the number required by eBay is not listed there. And unfortunately, I can't upload the receipt in this form.

Mentor2 weeks agoThen it just means waiting until ebay releases the payment.
I wouldn’t have handed over the item in the first place without the code.

Mentor2 weeks ago@selor97 please ask the buyer to check; after completing the purchase process, they received an email, where the QR code and the six-digit number code are listed. They should pass the latter on to you, you enter it, and poof the status changes to picked up and your money arrives faster too.
