Good evening, dear eBay community. As a seller, I unfortunately have a problem that I can’t figure out on my own.
So a buyer of mine bought an item from me with an eBay account registered in Germany, but now he no longer lives in Germany and asked me to send the item to his home country in the EU. He has already paid, and a shipping label has of course also been paid for, to the former address in Germany + extra shipping costs because shipping abroad is more expensive. So my question is how can I still send the item to him despite this, without making myself liable to prosecution as a private seller ???? Best regards

Mentor3 months agoHow was the buyer supposed to have paid extra shipping costs if they weren’t even stated beforehand?
And you’re only allowed to ship to the address listed on eBay if you don’t want to lose your seller protection.
I would cancel the purchase and refund it. If the buyer wants to buy again, they should do that and enter their address correctly IN ADVANCE.
