Buyer says that the return shipping costs €80!!!
Hello, I sold a camera.
At first everything was OK but then the buyer says that the camera is blocked and I accepted the return. Now he says that return shipping costs 60€ with DHL or 80€ with Correos from Spain to Croatia.
On the Correos website I can see that a package 30x30x30cm and up to 3kg costs 21.80€... and not 300 or 400% more
What can I do?

Standard shipments are only "insured" up to a certain value; for international Correos parcels it is 40 SDR + 4.5 SDR per kg (1 SDR = currently €1.2119 ) ... if the item was more expensive, the package should therefore be insured for a higher amount; there may also be an additional charge for premium (faster) shipping

Since the item is not as described, you are responsible for the return shipping. I recommend that you come to an agreement with the buyer here.
The system shows that my Spanish colleagues have already asked you to take care of the return shipping.

I kind of already figured that with your business trading disguised as private, you'd eventually come off second-best 😉
