Buyer does not pay
Hello, customer isn’t paying. I sent him a message via eBay. In addition, I sent him an invoice via eBay. What can I do? How long can the customer take to pay?
I didn’t use the text field in the invoice. What am I supposed to write there?

Mentor1 week agoHi @maeike42 Buyers have up to 4 days after purchase to pay, but ideally they should do it right away.
With the reminder, you've now set another 4-day deadline; after that, you can open and close a case for non-payment so that the buyer receives a non-paying bidder strike.

Items must be paid for within 4 days and then the purchase can be canceled due to non-payment.
Sending additional invoices / payment information starts the 4-day period over again.
What you want to write in the field is up to you, but I wouldn’t even send any more payment info; I’d just cancel the purchase due to non-payment once the 4 days are up.

Mentor1 week agoSellers can also extend the deadline or completely deactivate the automatic purchase cancellation, then the seller has to do the whole thing manually themselves - either way, the purchase contract normally has to be reminded / terminated after setting a reasonable deadline, both in the automatic and the manual variant, and 4 days is not reasonable to me
