Hello everyone,I sold an item on eBay. The purchase price is about €1,400.The buyer purchased the item, but despite repeated payment reminders has not paid so far. I have messaged them multiple times through eBay and most recently set a clear payment deadline. No payment or understandable response has been received so far.I know that after the deadline expires, I can cancel the purchase for "buyer has not paid". But that is not my actual problem.I would like to know:As a seller, is there a legally secure way to obtain the buyer’s full address if the buyer has not paid?The background is that, given the amount, I want to check whether I should pursue the claim further legally, for example through a court dunning procedure. For that, you need a service address.I explicitly do not want to handle anything outside of eBay or exchange contact details for any improper purpose. The only question is whether and how eBay provides the seller with the buyer data belonging to the transaction in such a case, or whether one can only go through the eBay cancellation due to non-payment.My questions would therefore be:Can a seller view the buyer’s address anywhere in the order details for an unpaid sale?Does eBay provide this data on request if the buyer does not pay?Has anyone had experience with whether a dunning procedure can actually be enforced in practice for an unpaid purchase if no full address is visible?Should you cancel first, or secure/document anything before canceling?I’d be grateful for practical advice, especially from sellers who have already dealt with a case like this.Best regards
