Buyer satisfied, DHL delivered – why is my payout being held until August 19? ⭐
I sold an iPhone. The buyer has confirmed receipt, DHL has confirmed delivery and there is no complaint. In addition, the 48-hour verification after changing my bank details has now expired. Nevertheless, a payout is still being shown to me only up until August 19. Can an eBay employee please check whether the hold is still necessary in my case?

OP2 weeks agoThank you very much for the explanation. I understand why the risk management generally kicks in. However, I’m interested in whether an early release is possible in my specific case. The buyer has confirmed receipt, the shipment was delivered, and there is no complaint. In addition, the 48-hour review because of the changed bank details has now been completed. Could an eBay employee please check whether the hold until August 19 is absolutely necessary in my case?

Mentor2 weeks agoHey @pschueler_32 why should an exception be made for you?
It was already explained to you why eBay is allowed and can withhold funds.
The item was sold on 19/7, the withholding is until 19/8, so the 30-day period applies, the sales history and additionally the high-priced item

Mentor2 weeks agoYou don't have a single rating as a seller and you sold an expensive electrical item that is prone to complaints. After receipt, the buyer has 30 days of buyer protection and can still file a complaint. And confirmation from the buyer or a rating is not recognized.
And since you're listed as a new seller, it will simply be held back for now. Ebay calls that risk management.
