Can't create listings (business)
Summary: jb-interactive reports that he has created a business Ebay account, but is running into problems when he wants to list items. At the step where he has to select the item condition, he gets an error message. perfect-sally and selina_b@ebay give troubleshooting advice, such as deleting cookies and switching browsers, but without success. selina_b@ebay recommends bypassing the listing tool. Finally, mia@ebay says that the error message has been forwarded to the specialist department and advises creating the item listing again.
Hello,
I created a business Ebay account and filled in all the details.
However, unfortunately I can't list any items. I get as far as selecting the condition of the item. After that I get redirected and receive the following error "We apologize. There is currently a problem with the listing tool. Please try again later."
That's been showing up for me for 3 days now. Is Ebay blocking me here, or is it just a server error.

thank you very much for your message. I have forwarded the error message to the specialist department. Please try creating the article completely from scratch again and not continue editing it from the drafts.

OP3 weeks agoSure, as I said, I get as far as the point where I can select the quality. After that, I just get the error message as described above. When I try to edit templates, I get the same error.

Mentor3 weeks agoOkay, it looks like you've provided the most important thing - the VAT ID.
Have you also provided the registration number from LUCID? (Without it, no sales are possible either.) All legally required business details are also included? (That wouldn't really be relevant for listing on eBay, but it would matter for those waiting for new businesses and ready to issue a warning right away.)
