Entering bid amounts with decimal places is not possible

For a little while now, when bidding on items I can no longer enter “odd” amounts; after confirming my entry, I keep getting the error message “Oops!
Apparently there is a problem with the connection to the server. Reload the browser window and try again.”
And I can keep playing this game seemingly forever; only when I enter whole-number amounts is my bid accepted.
Does anyone here know what could be causing this, or has had a similar or the same problem?

I only know it from the app, where I can’t enter amounts with commas there (only on my smartphone; on the tablet it works with the app), it hasn’t happened to me with a browser yet - did you use the desktop or mobile view, or maybe incognito mode, or are you using a VPN ?

I just tested it with Chrome on my PC. Entering € 12.49 works perfectly.

Have you tried clearing the cache, deleting the cookies, and using a different browser?
