No indication whatsoever of customs fees, which I now have to cover | Members help members

I ordered https://www.ebay.de/itm/298153078385 . I bought it at a price of €151.17. Nowhere on the listing page - not even in the shipping details - can I find any indication that customs duties will apply, and that the shipper also charges fees for customs clearance. The seller now says: that is Ebay's responsibility, since he offers it in English pounds and cannot know whether the amount will be above or below 150 euros. As a customer, I would expect at least somewhere to be shown that I have to pay fees - and specifically BEFORE the purchase (even after the purchase I received no information about this). Am I wrong to expect that? And if I am right: where can I complain about it? What would you advise me to do? Based on other threads I have read, I will pay the fee and accept the goods (which I do want), since refusing delivery would have even more serious consequences. ... the seller also said "I will get that back"Thanks for your help.
