Hello,I have the following problem: by mistake, I won an item that was listed as pickup only. Of course that’s my fault — I had several bidding windows open, placed bids on different items, and simply overlooked it. Unfortunately, I only noticed after the auction ended, and I unfortunately had the highest bid.I’m now unable to pick up the item from the seller, so I contacted the seller and asked whether shipping might be possible after all as an exception.The item I won is a single coin. So shipping by regular mail would be relatively straightforward here.The seller initially responded positively to my request, but asked for an email address to clarify the shipping details further.I then replied that communication could easily take place via Ebay and pointed out how shipping costs can be added by changing the invoice.Then nothing else happened at first. After some time, I asked again for the invoice to be adjusted. I pointed out postage costs at the post office and mentioned that I would accept shipping costs of up to +/- 5 €.The seller then insisted on being sent an email address. I then referred to Ebay guidelines, according to which private communication information should not be exchanged. After that, the seller went back to the original purchase terms, more or less warned me because I’m in default with payment and pickup, demanded payment, and requested that I provide a pickup appointment.After that, I tried to cancel the purchase because of the wrong shipping method. The seller rejected the cancellation. Reason: He could no longer cancel the sale.Is there anything that can be done here to still cancel the sale?Maybe someone has an idea?Thank you.
