my account is restricted regarding identity verification.
First of all - I welcome protective measures for buyers and sellers against criminal activity.
But I will not use any of the identity verification options offered and send, for example, a copy of my identity card, driver’s license, or passport to an American company.
I am happy to verify my identity via, for example, the Postident procedure.
It cannot be that I can no longer dispose of my balance of around €300.
The years of transfers to the same, unchallenged account can clearly be traced.
Has anyone been able to resolve this conflict differently, other than entrusting their most personal documents to a company?

Mentor1 week agoThe Postident procedure has not been used by ebay for a long time.
Without this required verification, you won’t get any further, and all users have to go through it, some even multiple times from time to time.
