Account limited despite service status "Above average"
Summary: statrix reports that her account was restricted even though her service status is above average and she has no violations on her account. However, she can now only list five items with a total value of up to 50 euros. It is not possible to contact human support staff, and she is looking for advice on how to be able to sell more items again. perfect-sally suggests trying through the legal notice, and elke@ebay refers to information on increasing the sales limit. However, statrix has already tried these steps without success.
Hello community,
my account has been "restricted!" meaning I can only list 5 items up to a total of 50,-.
Apparently because my service status is "below average.
My seller account still shows the following attributes:
Service status "above average"
No open cases
No payment arrears or similar
100% positive feedback
Unfortunately, it is not possible to contact a "human" employee either by email or by phone!.
Maybe someone in the community knows what I could do to be able to list 3-400 items again like I could until April. to get that back.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and help
Best regards

OP2 weeks ago · EditedDear Elke,
I’ve already been through all that, but unfortunately it doesn’t help me much,
My seller status was never below average or would have dropped to that!
Since 1999 or the introduction of the "sales status", the status has been constantly "above average"
That’s exactly why I don’t understand the whole eBay thing, why all of a sudden I can’t list anything anymore, and my active items were removed.
Best regards

Mentor2 weeks agoHello @statrix , thank you very much for your feedback. Your service status is currently "Above average" and was already that way before. Please therefore use the corresponding option in your eBay account to request an increase in your selling limit.
Best regards

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedMaybe an eBay employee can say more about that, she’ll chime in here.
And eBay also has a legal notice where you can find contact options. I have no idea why this isn’t known to many users and why it shouldn’t work to call there yourself and speak with an employee. Others can do it too, setting the language barrier aside for a moment ;)
@elke@ebay could you take a look please? Thanks a lot
