Hello everyone,I’d like to hear your experiences and assessments regarding a problem that has been affecting me regularly lately.I mainly sell low-priced items on eBay and have now successfully sold around 500 items. Aside from two negative reviews that are still being resolved, I have an almost consistently positive feedback rate. From my point of view, that shows that the items are reaching buyers and that the transactions overall go smoothly.I don’t generally see withholding the payout of sales proceeds for a certain period as a problem. As long as the cash flow keeps moving, I can work with that. My real problem is the recurring account restrictions and the checks that come with them.I ship my items using the shipping labels offered by eBay as Deutsche Post letter mail. This creates a tracking number. However, with this shipping method, the delivery status is often not updated all the way until actual delivery. That means that although a tracking number exists, no complete proof of delivery is shown.This seems to be exactly where the system keeps triggering. Even though buyers obviously receive their items — which is shown, among other things, by the positive feedback and the roughly 500 successful sales so far — my account is regularly reviewed or restricted again. In some cases, this even affects shipments that are still within the stated processing or shipping time.So my question to other sellers:Has anyone had similar experiences with Deutsche Post letter mail? Is there a way to make it permanently clear to the system, or to eBay, that this shipping method does have a tracking number, but does not always provide proof of delivery? Or are there certain measures that you were able to take to avoid these recurring restrictions?I’d appreciate your experiences and advice.Thank you!
