Account was classified as commercial
Hello,
after I sold several valuable items recently, my private ebay account was classified as commercial.
How can I have that changed back?

When does commercial activity on the eBay marketplace count as such?
just read up on it.
"Note: We regularly review our sellers' trading activities and, if necessary, ask them to mark their eBay account as a business account. You should also expect to receive a costly warning letter from competitors or consumer protection associations and to face legal action for injunctive relief."

Mentor1 month agoIf ebay classifies it that way, then that's how it is and it can't be changed. It's also not allowed to open another private account or already have one.

Mentor1 month agoIf you're selling at that volume, then it's definitely no longer private, and eBay is paying pretty close attention to that by now. You should be glad that no other authorities are coming after you too.

Mentor1 month ago · Edited@dafrosch123 it doesn’t do any good to debate with the rest of us users here; if eBay decides that you can only keep selling if you register as a business, then there’s no ifs or buts.

Mentor1 month agoI saw what you sold @dafrosch123 and I can also imagine that you sold it privately, but at that scale I wouldn't have done it via eBay.
That they classify you as a commercial seller, I can also understand; after all, they lose quite a bit of commission that way.
With those coins, I would have gone to coin dealers; for me, this is simply too risky.
