What can you do if the buyer has not received the item.
Unfortunately, there is no tracking for large letters

Mentor3 weeks ago · EditedBut there is if you buy the label on eBay in the form of basic tracking. And you would also have seller protection if the value of the goods incl. postage does not exceed €20.
If a buyer does not receive their paid-for item then you refund it in full. If you don't do that and the buyer opens a claim, then eBay will take over after a short period and you'll get a defect on your account.

How can I inform eBay that the shipment hasn't arrived and arrange for the payment to be reversed?

Mentor3 weeks agoYou don't need to tell eBay anything about that.
Has the buyer already opened a request? If so, you can issue a refund within the request.
If not, you can issue a refund via the purchase details.

OP3 weeks agoMany thanks, I’ve just initiated the refund - with the uneasy feeling that I can’t prove the goods were shipped. And even then, delivery can’t be verified.
So from now on, only with tracking.
