Ongoing auction canceled
Summary: klinge43 reported that his bid in an auction was canceled and the auction was ended without receiving an explanation from the seller. bootyooty requested the item number so that mia@ebay from customer service could look into it. mia@ebay explained that the seller ended the auction because of a possible issue with the item and that it had nothing to do with klinge43's bid. klinge43 thanked them for the information.
Ongoing auction cancelled
I was the highest bidder in the ongoing auction and then I got the message that my bid had been cancelled.. for whatever reason... then I saw the notice in my watchlist " offer ended " . Since I've never had this situation before, the seller isn't replying to my inquiry and Mr./Ms. AI isn't helping me at all now, I’m hoping for some helpful info here, thanks in advance

I'm sorry that you weren't able to win your desired item. The seller ended the auction. Of course, there can always be something wrong with the item, or a defect may have been noticed. There are several ways to cancel an auction in special cases. And that's what happened here. The item is no longer being offered by the seller. This had nothing to do with your bid.
