Hello everyone,
for months now, this error message has been appearing when buying Siemens items. The error is known; after contacting customer service, they want pictures of the items and the process of how one wants to buy them. After that, no more reply comes. The error still persists.
By now, we have had to create 6 profiles in order to continue buying items for our customers.
Now it’s not even working with newly created profiles anymore, and no one can fix the problem.
Of course, our location is Germany; sometimes we could bid on items in the morning and not on the same items in the evening. And we did not move during the day.
Complete nonsense what is going on here!
Ebay wants people not to exchange contacts and to buy everything only through ebay, but does not ensure that you can actually buy through ebay!
I urgently ask for help, this problem has existed for months, it is known, also here in the forum, and none of the employees is able to solve the problem or even say what it is caused by!

Could you name an item number that can be used to check the system behavior?
Maybe you selected a different country when searching for other items. But that can only be checked with a specific item.

Since I no longer received any response to my messages from customer service, I opened a new case. There I then received a reply with the note that I should turn off VPN.
I did that on all computers and on my phone, but it still doesn't work. I informed customer service of this 3 days ago and since then have again received no response. The issue is simply being ignored.

Hello @ank9687 - I can understand your frustration in this situation, especially since it has persisted for so long and is severely limiting you in the purchasing process. We now have information that we are currently updating the location data we use and that the behavior should no longer occur for you in the next few weeks.
Unfortunately, I can't say exactly when, but there should be noticeable improvements in this area soon, not just for you. In the meantime, please use the known workaround steps (try again at a later time or via a different eBay account).
