Multi-discount not visible

I have listed 2 similar items for sale. My offer includes 2 variants. Under "Sell / Manage active offers" I have set a multi-discount for the purchase of 2 items. The multi-discount appears correctly in the "Sales actions" column as "Multi-discount added". A test - from another account via the eBay app - shows that while the variants are selectable for buyers, the multi-discount is not visible. What can I do so that the multi-discount is visible and selectable for potential buyers?

Thanks for reaching out to us. You have set up the items as variant items. For items with a quantity of 1 or items with variants, the volume discount is neither displayed nor applied. See the information here from our seller portal. I’m sure it will help you.

PS: It would be helpful if the user guide for ebay sellers took this into account as well.

I can see an offer with multi-discount for you, but the available quantity is always 1.
Then the multi-discount can no longer work, since I can’t see which discount tiers you’ve set.

many thanks for your reply. In the Pricing section, I specified the discount for 2 items (see attached file). There is actually only 1 item per variant. You're absolutely right about that. However, there should be a multi-buy discount if a buyer orders both variants (1+1=2 items). Presumably, that can't be set up like that in eBay?

It may be that this type of discount is reserved for business sellers only.

yes, you're right. The sales promotions are only available to commercial sellers with a shop subscription.
