eBay account restricted after moving
Hey there,
after my move I updated the address, which should now match the VAT ID, but I’m still restricted from selling. Is this being checked by eBay for the time being, and if so, for how long?

Mentor1 week agoIt's not quite that simple! Your new address in eBay must match the details at the BZSt 100% exactly, otherwise it won't work.

OP1 week agomy first notice still has my old address on it. however, it also says that the tax office has transmitted the updated data to the BZSt. So it should be my new one, right? or will another letter come from the BZSt.

Mentor1 week agoNothing is coming from the BZSt, and it also apparently isn’t certain that the VAT ID stays the same when you move.
Best thing is to contact the BZSt and have them tell you which data is currently on file.
