I sold and shipped an item, and after delivery the buyer contacted me and reported a defective item.So far everything okay BUTHe wanted the refund immediately and only AFTER the refund to send back the item, which I declinedI accepted the return RIGHT AWAY and provided the buyer with a return label, WITHOUT pickup, but instead drop-off at a branch/delivery driver or parcel locker.He then said he was "bad on his feet" and that I should send the item via courier/DHL pickup, with the extra costs to be covered by me (of course and naturally)I declined againBecause of his persistent refusal to drop off the shipment himself, I contacted eBay and opened a case (done by a customer service representative on the phone and eBay refunded the buyer the purchase price as a courtesy(Many thanks to the commercial sellers who HAVE TO finance such nonsense!)Now the "red" review came in, in which the buyer writes that I REFUSED the return and refund and that he only got his money back with eBay's help.This statement is PROVABLY a lie and can certainly be verified through eBay customer service's internal systems as well as the message history on eBayBut what about the negative review when lies are being told that the rafters bend?Is there a possibility to have this deleted?It just can't be that buyers can write any old crap in a review or lie without consequences and sellers have to just accept it
