Negative authenticity check
How is it possible that I was informed by the buyer via message that my item did not pass the authenticity check without being notified by eBay beforehand? My status still says “Authenticity check pending”

I recommend asking the colleagues in the specialist department why your buyer has already received a response even though the status for you has not yet changed. You can reach the specialist department as follows:

it may not have been passed on in real time system-wide. But in my opinion, the seller should also be informed at the same time.
There may currently be a technical issue here. Maybe the lovely @verena@ebay knows more about this, thanks Verena. ❤️
