New article won’t let you upload images from your phone and then deletes all the data from the draft?
Summary: sparlex5000 reports a problem that for more than 1 ½ months they haven’t been able to upload images from their phone into new listings anymore, even though this used to work without any issues. When they try, the upload process gets stuck and then even deletes the draft’s title, product description, and pricing settings. perfect-sally advises contacting customer service and uploading images from a PC instead, while voli-maus also recommends not using the app and instead using the PC for the listings.
Hello,
unfortunately, for over 1 ½ months now I’ve been having the problem that I can no longer upload pictures to my new listings from my phone because the process simply doesn’t load.
I usually create my listings on the PC and then add the pictures via my phone. That used to work without any problems: I tapped the corresponding message, the listing opened on my phone, I added the pictures, and then activated it.
Now, however, it just keeps loading forever. If I then press the “X” at the top left, the title, product description, and pricing settings even disappear from the listing afterward.
At this point it’s really pretty annoying, especially because it used to work without any problems.
Could someone please tell me whether eBay is working on this bug and when it will finally be fixed?

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedNo, unfortunately we can't tell other users that. You'll have to contact customer service yourself for that.
And if it hasn't worked for so long, then I would just transfer the pictures to the PC and upload them from there. It's not that much "extra work" anyway.

Mentor2 weeks agoWhat kind of answer are you expecting, @sparlex5000 .
I do it the way sally wrote: I bring the photos onto the computer and use my laptop to upload them.
It works wonderfully.
The app is buggy and, to put it mildly, really isn't much good.

Mentor2 weeks agoWhat kind of help were you expecting then? That they’d let you post articles without pictures or what?
The answer at least helps to post more articles, especially new items.
If you can’t work with that, then no one can help you!
