Hello,
i am having a problem recently, actually is the 3-rd in the last month:the package is delivered but its status in eBay is still "Shipped" instead "Delivered", the problem is that this is affecting the payment in the manner that usually is done in 8 days after the package is delivered, now payment it supposed to be in Nov 3, which is not acceptable.While contacting eBay help, an AI assistant kicks in and doesn't fix the problem i am askig you for help

Mentor2 weeks agoHi @pathfindero there are no ebay staff members here like before who could work with an order number, unfortunately.
Feel free to contact support by phone or enter "call" or "staff member" a few times in the chat bot, then you’ll get a call back.
eBay tracking always lags behind, unfortunately that’s been the case for a long time now.

Mentor2 weeks agoWhat are they using your money for, then? Do you think it will have offspring if it just lies around uselessly and waits for payout? It’s really kind of weird that some users keep having a problem because the tracking doesn’t work correctly. I’ve never had that, and I don’t even create my labels on eBay.

The tracking was working correctly, DPD delivered the parcel and the delivery proof was available.The loop wasn't closed, meaning eBay didn't "saw" the package was delivered (here is a communication problem between eBay and DPD, which should be fixed by eBay together with DPD)

there are various reasons for withholding payments, but it's all explained above in the link.

OP2 weeks agoOriginal issue was updating package status not about payment holding.If package update is made just after the package deliver , the payment is made after 8 days (my case), if the update is not made, then the payment is hold for more than 1 month.The communication problems between the courier (e.g. DPD) and eBay is not members problem, and should not affect me emers in any way.Have a good day
