I’m writing with Google Translate, for which I apologize.
I bought a product with my bank card on May 8. I am in Hungary, the product is in Germany. On May 12, he gave me a DHL tracking number (CY272724565DE). In this tracking, Hungary was correctly listed as the recipient country. After entering the recipient’s postal code on the DHL website, the delivery address was correct. However, this tracking was deleted on May 16. Within a few minutes, a new tracking number (00340434770004542614) was added, but this time with Germany as the recipient country. On May 19, the tracking number showed that the parcel had been delivered, but not to me. After entering my postal code, the DHL website also shows an error message; I can’t view the details. This proves that the tracking number does not belong to my product. I asked the seller for clarification. I still want to receive the parcel. eBay Buyer Protection can become active on May 27; until then we have to wait for the seller’s response. However, the seller has not responded to anything so far. According to the tracking information, the parcel was sent back to the sender. Can anyone help me find out why this happened? Thank you for any replies.

OP2 months agoI made the seller a price offer, which he accepted. Then he just cheats on the shipping and doesn’t respond to messages.
I’ll ask DHL whether they can provide any further information.

Only the shipping provider can answer these questions. You have already opened a request and can involve us on 27.05.2026. Before that, unfortunately, we cannot intervene.

The tracking numbers are pretty weird; for the international shipping, it seems like no shipment was ever handed over, and with the German number, you get the impression that the seller supplied themselves.
