Hello everyone,

In October 2025 I bought a mobile phone from a seller and paid for it too.

After that, the package was handed over to DHL and went into delivery.

No further information was provided. Because I went abroad for a longer period, I had to buy an alternative mobile phone.

The seller told me that he was taking care of it. At the end of November / beginning of December I then received the information that a trace request had been filed. I filled out everything and then heard nothing more.

Yesterday I called DHL and they told me that normally a response comes after 6 weeks. In my case the package cannot be found and only the seller can request reimbursement from DHL, not me.

Now the seller is no longer responding (location: Hong Kong).

Is there a way to get the legal notice or an email via eBay so that you don't have to contact the seller through the eBay chat?

Unfortunately, there is no longer any buyer protection on eBay and PayPal.

Do you really think the Chinese guy will still respond after all this time? I don't.

And the Chinese guy also has a legal notice where you can find contact options! eBay won't tell you more than that, and it can't. The contact info is listed there.
