Suddenly no sales - account is in good standing
Sales have noticeably declined. Sometimes we go hours without any sales, but also without any messages.
Our account is clean. All quotas are very good, reviews too. The items can be purchased without any problems, delivery times are also very good.
Is this currently a common problem?
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you very much!

·2 weeks agoAnd I thought I was the only one with this problem. I don’t have a solution. But I’ve tried everything I could according to the recommendations, including ads. Since the end of July .. August, it’s been going downhill... Since September, I’ve been like I’m "not there". I’ve made all the adjustments to the new requirements; otherwise what I sell and how I sell it have stayed the same, and pricing has also dropped below last year’s prices. I somehow get the feeling... that things are being sorted out without any explanation, and the basis for being able to read it out in an AI way was the change requirements. I’m pretty at a loss .. almost desperate and, unfortunately, also dependent on a small turnover, like some here. I sell my private things. The price was never the hurdle. The selection - so my private clothes and nice things - was never a problem either. I’d like to stay on Ebay, because I see Ebay as a safe platform, and my target group is here too, but apparently hasn’t been finding me anymore for some time. A fixed circle of regular buyers also seems to have disappeared in that time. I wrote to Ebay in detail about the problem this week, asking for a reply.... Unfortunately, nothing has come back so far. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do. Over the years I’ve had lots of good ratings, caused no trouble, and now this.... HELP!

·3 weeks agoHello @isooe
I’m noticing quite a few things too, and all of a sudden I had articles that I had sold 100 times, some even over 1000 times, but I haven’t sold a single one anymore. There were no views on them, and they were hardly ever found, and I always thought that a good sales history also helps with visibility, but apparently that’s not the case.
I then took the items down and put them up for sale elsewhere, and sure enough, boom, they’re doing very well there.
The EU is still playing a big role ..... and we’ll see how things continue here on eBay

Mentor3 weeks agoThat definitely isn’t because of eBay, but because of the customers’ eagerness to buy, or rather their unwillingness to buy.
That’s been the case for almost all businesses for quite a while now, and sooner or later it hits those who had actually been selling well up to then too.
And if there were something wrong with your account, you would surely have received a message from eBay.
