PPWR packages no longer possible in 26 EU countries
PPWR packages in the EU 26 countries no longer possible
Approx. 40% of our revenue has disappeared since 12.08., as we can no longer ship from our eBay Shop to 26 EU countries; the bureaucracy and registering individually is not economically viable for our low volumes.
What can we do? What is eBay doing?

Second: what exactly should eBay do against legal requirements other than implement them in compliance?
So what exactly is eBay supposed to do?

In the end, costs of between 5,000 and 10,000 euros per year will be added for us just for these registrations so that we can continue selling to other EU countries + Norway?
In other forums you read: "waiting for the signal to activate the international shipping program so that you can serve the European market again step by step and without extra costs", supposedly via a "German logistics center" operated by eBay. eBay would handle the PPWR registrations in all countries and we micro-sellers could then unlock the 26 countries again. Or so I've heard... It must affect tens of thousands of small sellers across Europe.

But that has absolutely nothing to do with the PPWR for now.
And I also don't believe that any platform will take the blame for the affairs and costs of individual sellers.

OPAug 17, 2026 at 3:27 PMUp until now I have been able to send everything all over the world independently and on my own initiative. I’ve been able to do that freely since November 2001. Now that seems to be over. I’d really like to know how the thousands of micro and mini traders across Europe do it. Doesn’t matter anyway, we’ll just have to close up shop, nothing pays off anymore. All ideologically and politically intended. When I think about how easy everything was 20, 25 years ago!?
And honestly, (I don’t know who you are, "perfect-sally"), I don’t think this regulation can remain in place like this.

We all in the trade openly hope that this will be “defused” in some way, but the people there have a lot more time than we do.

It's exactly the same on other sales platforms and has been in force for 5 days now, ebay can't change that.
