Prices from to
When I search for an item, prices are shown from low to high, and the lowest price is often just an accessory like a screw, but not the item I'm looking for; that's usually the highest price. It's the same with online searching in general. I don't even click on eBay anymore because I know what comes next. Most likely, interested buyers who have had the same experience won't come to eBay anymore.

OP2 months agoNo matter what kind of offers they are, the buyer has no interest or time for that sort of thing and, poof, they’re gone — that’s probably how eBay will be sold soon.

these are variant offers. These can be different sizes, colors, types, etc., and that is perfectly legitimate.
I don't know of a way to exclude these offers from search. If you don't want to see them, just keep scrolling.

Variant offers are one thing and they don't bother me as long as they are filled in correctly
but if, for example, boards are being sold, screws are NOT a standards-compliant variant and that is annoying because it simply makes the seller look unserious
same with clothing - the offer actually includes shirts, the variant is a button or shoes / shoelaces or a care spray etc. ... this runs through all categories

if someone thinks that such offers are not in line with the basic rules, they can report them. Personally, though, I wouldn’t bother, since we all know the results of such reports anyway.

that’s why I don’t report stuff like that anymore 😒
