Price suggestions accepted
I accepted a price suggestion from a customer. After that, the sold item didn’t appear in "sold and not yet paid" and remained active in the listing. So I also couldn’t send any payment information. What went wrong there?

And then you should urgently think about whether you really sell privately the way you claim!
Currently 572 active listings
Of those 65 new items
Sold 132
This could still get expensive, cease-and-desist letters cost money!
You are typically acting as a business or commercially if you:
buy items to resell them
sell items that you have manufactured for resale
regularly sell large quantities of items
sell similar goods, especially new goods, over a longer period of time
frequently sell new items that you did not purchase for your own use
According to case law, the following are considered indications of commercial activity:
operating an eBay shop
number of current sales: if many items are sold continuously over a longer period of time, this is usually a commercial seller
protracted sale of a private collection over many years
type of items sold (new or used goods, value): the sale of several similar navigation devices was classified as proof of commercial activity – as was the offering of 250 batteries in different sizes with reference to the availability of larger quantities.
a website or the use of advertising descriptions that make a professional impression
Note: We regularly review the trading activities of our sellers and may ask them to mark their eBay account as a business account. Furthermore, you must expect that competitors or consumer protection associations may issue you a paid cease-and-desist letter and take legal action against you for injunctive relief.

Mentor4 days agoHi @persike31
for price suggestions initiated by sellers, Ebay introduced this change this spring.
Such price suggestions only become binding once payment has been made. As long as it hasn’t been paid, the items can still be bought by anyone else.
Best wishes from the Baltic Sea

the item only counts as sold once the buyer has paid.
As long as that isn't the case, other interested buyers can still buy it or make offers.
This is called "immediate payment"
