Hello, I'm usually on Ebay as a buyer, but I've also already listed a few items as a private seller. So far it has always gone smoothly, and it was always within Germany. I thought I had also set it up so that I only ship within Germany, since I don't know anything about shipping abroad. I have now received a price suggestion, and the potential buyer's location is China. How can that be? My message to the buyer asking whether shipping would take place within Germany has not yet received a reply. Now I'm a bit at a loss, since I entered €7.69 for shipping (DHL), but shipping to China would cost at least €25. Has anyone ever had such a case? How can I prevent being asked to ship abroad? Or what settings are needed for that? Thanks in advance.

Mentor2 months agoYou must explicitly exclude all countries you don't ship to. So if, for example, a Chinese customer buys something, they need a delivery address in Germany.

OP2 months agook, thanks. I thought I had set that when creating the account, but that wasn't the case.

Mentor2 months agoThat doesn’t need to be set in the account, but on the item.
