Printing retour label not working
Summary: salepurchasekade is experiencing difficulties printing a return label from a seller on eBay. They attempted to print the label via a web browser, their eBay account, and by sending it via email, but faced repeated error messages and issues with the system not recognizing their email address. Despite trying different browsers and clearing cookies, the problem persists. petersmodellbahnstuebchen suggested using different browser methods and contacting customer support, but salepurchasekade confirmed that these attempts did not resolve the issue.

OP2 weeks ago · EditedA buyer here.
For a good purchased and received shipped I ordered the return of ware due to mismatch with article description.
One or two days later I got a message to print shipping label.
I log on to my ebay account in order the label however can't complete the process of gathering label printed.
Screenshots myself attached to this chat demonstrate the last step I can reach in process of printing shipping label. As it can be seen on screenshots the most advanced step in process is still far away from providing me with label. Nor letting the label sent to my email address works because system does not recognize my email address as valid address. However I guarantee that there are no mistakes in address I field in the form line.
Instead of getting the label printed, I receive the message "We’re working on the solution! Please try again later. You can also return the item to the return address using a shipping method of your choice." If I follow the suggestion "Try again", it either goes into the endless loop of the same message (exactly at the current minute) or it suggests having the label sent by email. The latter also doesn’t work, because the input form does not recognize my email address as a valid address. I am sure, however, that I made no mistakes when typing in the email address.
What’s going on here?
Ebay got contacted using customer support & help channel however still no reaction to my complaint.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedHi @salepurchasekade
have you tried printing the label directly from the received message?
If so, you might want to clear your browser (history and cookies) or try a different browser.
If it’s urgent, try it via the chat bot in the help section and request a callback or an employee.
Best regards from the Baltic Sea

OP2 weeks agoSo far I’ve tried it with 2 different browsers - result: problem not solved.
No fix either if I follow the link directly from the email in my IMAP inbox.

OP2 weeks ago · EditedThe option to have the label sent by email is also missing, as stated at the beginning. The system rejects my error-free email address in the sending form. Caution, the attached screenshot has been blacked out to protect privacy - I guarantee that in this small form my email address was entered correctly and without errors.

Mentor2 weeks agoSo you can open the label but not print it? Or how should I understand your message?

OP2 weeks ago · EditedMessage received from system and/or retailer with invitation to print label. Following this invitation, link to print results in zero offer to print. See also my recent updates in this chat. At the end I expect to get label printed, however process does not progress so far. Screenshots attached say actually everything.
Can you see "Wir arbeiten an der Lösung", "Erneut versuchen"? Can you see that system does not accept my email address when I try to get label in an email?
