Hello, my claim regarding an item not received (the seller wrote that the item is unavailable and agreed to a refund, but nothing else happened) was closed by eBay because I also reported the case to PayPal. Has my chance of getting a refund now gone down, or does it not matter, or is it possibly better to handle the whole thing through PayPal?

Hello @wird-ollas-leiwand-oida , so if the seller can’t deliver, they actually have 2 options to cancel / void the purchase (as long as no case has been opened).Sometimes, though, there are also various seller-side delays with refunds/cancellations, e.g. if the seller no longer has any balance left on ebay and first has to add a payment method.
