PSttG report for 2025 still not created
Summary: xtian_apostata reports that their PSttG report for 2025 has not yet been created, even though it is legally required and urgently needed. They describe several unsuccessful phone calls with customer service, where technical problems were confirmed but have still not been fixed. perfect-sally asks why the report is needed for business purposes, since it is not crucial for tax returns, and points to bookkeeping as a more important source of income. They call on another participant for support.
Hello everyone,
My PSttG report for 2025 still hasn’t been created as of today (23/07.), and I obviously need it urgently (apart from the fact that the platform operator is legally required to submit it to the tax office at the beginning of the year).
In several phone calls, three (!) service staff members from the specialist department confirmed to me that there is a technical error here and that I - as in 2024 - should of course receive this report (small business owner, over 10k in sales). Despite constant promises to fix the problem immediately, nothing has happened for almost 3 weeks now.
“Amusingly”, in the meantime I received a message from a customer service representative: “Unfortunately there is no PStTG report [sic!] for commercial sellers”. Complete nonsense, of course - the staff in the specialist department also found that bizarre.
I hope the issue will be sorted out in the next few days, and I find this situation more than strange.
Best regards (especially to everyone who has similar worries),
Ch. (Xtian_Apostata)

Then I don’t understand why you need this report as a commercial seller. It says absolutely nothing about your actual income and expenses and is completely unnecessary for the tax return.
Don’t you have bookkeeping? The data from there is what counts, not a report from eBay.
And why should there be an extra report for commercial sellers? As I said, it’s irrelevant for your tax return.
@nina@ebay could you please take a look? Thanks :)
@xtian_apostata you should also take care of correctly stating your legally required commercial information. Your cancellation policy, for example, is contradictory.
30-day returns and in the cancellation policy you write 1 month. That’s not the same.
