QR Code Problem
Summary: 770588 reports an invalid DHL QR code that prevents returning an item via eBay. Despite multiple attempts at a DHL branch, the code remains unusable. eBay customer service only refers to the faulty code without offering further help. nina@ebay says the issue is being investigated and promises to send a replacement return label by email. If the replacement also doesn’t work, they are advised to get back in touch again.
Hello,
for some time now, I have been trying to return an item through the eBay return process. For this, I received a DHL QR code from eBay, but it is invalid.
At the DHL branch, the code was checked several times – both on the printed copy and on my smartphone. The QR code is not recognized and therefore cannot be used.
I urgently need a new, valid return QR code or alternatively a return label. This is probably a system error, because without a working code I cannot send the item back.
Unfortunately, I’m not getting any further through eBay customer service, since I keep being referred back to the invalid QR code. I have not yet been able to reach a direct contact with a staff member. That is very disappointing, as I want to carry out the return properly.

OP2 weeks agoFirst of all, many thanks, dear Nina. I'm going to try my luck with what you sent me. Should there unexpectedly still be problems — which I certainly don't hope for — I'll get back to you again.
Best regards

Mentor3 weeks ago@770588 Hey. 🙂 Why the QR code couldn’t be read or was shown as invalid is currently being checked behind the scenes by our specialist department. I’ll send you an email in the next few minutes with a replacement return label. If that is also invalid, please be sure to get in touch here again.
@meinehexe11 Thanks a lot for tagging me. ❤
Best regards,
