Send receipt to eBay
Hello, I need to send a receipt to eBay as proof that I shipped the item. I can't find the email address. Something like “Customer…@ebay.com”. Maybe someone knows what the address is? I'd be very grateful.

I’m happy to help you. We need proof of delivery showing that the item was delivered to your buyer’s address. As you have already told us, there is no shipping proof. Therefore, I recommend that you refund the amount to your buyer. Otherwise, you will receive a defect on your eBay account, as @perfect-sally already wrote.

Did that come from "customer service" maybe, or was it probably a false statement?

Mentor1 week agoAs proof that it was shipped, the tracking number and the carrier are generally listed with the item. I've never heard that anything needs to be sent to eBay for that.

OP1 week agoI sent a book as a merchandise shipment (Deutsche Post), it isn’t insured and accordingly has no tracking number. The buyer says the book didn’t arrive. I called eBay, and they gave me an email address to which I’m supposed to send a photo of the receipt. Apparently I didn’t write down the email address correctly. In the legal notice I can’t find the email address with “customer…” .

You have to refund before eBay does it, because then you'll also get a defect on your account.
