Returns closed, how can I reactivate it?
Hello everyone,
Maybe you can help me. I initiated a return, but then canceled it again because I probably didn’t tick a checkbox somewhere regarding the cancellation of the contract.
Now the return is closed and I can’t find any way to start it again.
Can someone tell me how this works?

Mentor3 weeks agoHi @sigi234 there is no checkbox regarding a cancellation.
There is the withdrawal and there is the complaint. On eBay, you can only open a return once for each item, unless you first reported an item as not received, it arrives, and then you can close the return. If it later turns out that the item doesn’t match the description, you can also report that case accordingly.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf it’s a commercial seller, your right of withdrawal does not expire if the return on eBay has been cancelled. You just need to sort it out now outside of and without eBay.

closed returns can't be reopened. You'll have to sort that out directly with the seller now, eBay is out of it.
