Return ,help
Summary: katkapo-61 needs help with a return because an item is counterfeit and the seller has provided a return label. They do not want to send the item back due to legal concerns and are asking for a manual review as well as a refund through buyer protection. meinehexe11 expresses doubt that this will be possible without further ado and mentions the option of contacting an eBay employee. perfect-sally explains that a refund without returning the item is unlikely and recommends turning the evidence over to the police.
“Hello, I need help with my return (order: 03-14934-99684). I started a return because the item (Panini Stickerbox) is a fake. The seller has now provided a return shipping label. However, the listing was already officially removed by eBay due to a policy violation (red warning notice in the system). Since these are illegal counterfeit goods, I do not and do not want to send this item back by post. I therefore ask you to manually review the case, close the return request, and refund my money through buyer protection. Thank you very much.”

Mentor1 week agoActually pretty simple: if you don’t send it back with proof, you don’t get a refund!
And who says you’re not allowed to send it back? If anything, you’d have to hand over the police “evidence” as evidence, and then things look different. But just keeping it isn’t allowed.

I don't think it works that easily, the way you imagine it. Let's ask @selina_b@ebay
