Do not accept the withdrawal
Hi, I would like to exclude returns as a private seller. Unfortunately, for some items the 30-day return policy was automatically specified. How can I change that?
Thanks in advance...

I looked at a few offers and saw "No returns" everywhere. Since I can’t be bothered to look at all the offers, just name an item number. Or do you mean claims through buyer protection? You can’t exclude that.

Mentor1 month agoWow, supposedly a private seller with 110 items currently online and 104 of them new goods? How does that work?
You just have to adjust your settings and make sure they’re applied to all items.
You typically act as an entrepreneur or commercially when you:
buy items to resell them
sell items that you made for resale
regularly sell large quantities of items
sell similar goods, especially new goods, over a longer period of time
frequently sell new items that you did not purchase for your own use
According to case law, the following are considered indications of commercial activity:
operating an eBay shop
number of current sales: if many items are continuously sold over a longer period of time, this is usually a commercial seller
gradual sale of a private collection over many years
type of items sold (new or used goods, value): the sale of several similar navigation devices was classified as proof of commercial activity – as was the offering of 250 batteries in different sizes with reference to the availability of larger quantities.
a website or the use of advertising descriptions that make a professional impression
Note: We regularly review the trading activities of our sellers and may require them to mark their eBay account as a commercial account. You should also expect to receive a costly warning letter from competitors or consumer protection associations and to face legal action for injunctive relief.

OP1 month agoThanks for the quick reply, which of course doesn't help me at all. The items mostly come from the estate of my deceased parents, or from me, because many pieces of clothing have become too small for me due to pathological weight gain.

Mentor1 month agoYou can specify in the settings whether you accept returns or not.
Select all items - Edit - Select all again - Edit in bulk - Return policy - Change and then upload the updated version again
