Return shipping costs
Summary: berlinmichel reports a problem with a purchased item from Hungary that does not match the description. Although the seller accepts the return, no return label is provided, meaning berlinmichel would have to cover the €14 cost themselves just to get the original cost refunded. petersmodellbahnstuebchen recommends contacting a specialized eBay contact person to clarify the next steps.
I bought an item in Hungary. The item does not match the description. The seller accepts the return but does not send a return label. After I opened a case, eBay gives me the seller's address so I can send the item back. Obviously, with this process and no return label, I only get the original costs back and not my return shipping costs of about €14, even though the item sold clearly does not match the description.
Are there similar cases? Who knows anything?

Hello @berlinmichel ,
Thank you very much for your post.
I'd be happy to have contacted your seller and asked them to send you a return label.
If you don't receive one by 11.08. or don't hear back from your seller, please let us know again.
@petersmodellbahnstuebchen Thanks a lot for the tag 💗

Mentor6 days agoHi @berlinmichel
unfortunately, I don’t know which Ebay company is responsible for Hungary or how buyer protection is set up there.
I'm sure the lovely @selina_b@ebay can tell you more and advise you on how to proceed, thanks Selina. ❤️
Kind regards from the Baltic Sea
