Hello, I sold an item on eBay, I'm a private seller and excluded returns.https://www.ebay.de/itm/318281280118When I sold it, I already waived the shipping costs for the buyer - I could kick myself in the **Ouch** for that now, but that's just how it is.The buyer then connected the item using a different power supply and a makeshift DIY setup, which didn't really work, and then claimed the item was defective and asked for a return label.I spent a while trying to convince him to please use the included power supply that the item worked with for me, or alternatively a USB-C power supply that you can also use to run the player. But that was ignored and he insisted that the item must be defective.So I told myself maybe I'm being unfair to him and agreed to the return and provided a return label through eBay for €8.60.Now the item is back, I've checked it and it works perfectly with both the power supply and via USB-C.How do I proceed correctly now if I'd like to at least get the €8.60 return shipping costs reimbursed by the buyer? The buyer quite clearly described the item as defective in order to save on return shipping, or at least to have the option of returning it at all (since I had excluded returns).I just don't feel like being left holding the shipping costs, and I don't think that's fair.So how do I do it right?Regards, Markus
